While Sam was a student at Hammond Elementary School, he was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma Cancer. To support him in his fight, Sam’s school, local businesses, and families came together for a week to share some extra kindness with Sam by raising funds, a carnival, and many more creative ways of sharing kindness. We are thrilled to be able to say that today, Sam is cancer free and remains a source of joy for all those around him!
